Job Description

This position works within the Quality Control department, handling CATI centre quality control operations. The focus is on quality assessment and monitoring of market research call recordings.

The role involves a range of tasks including quality control and assessment, downloading relevant recordings, maintaining a tidy QC area, accurately timing questionnaires, and validating market research participant identity and credentials.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for editing and anonymising recordings using provided software, supporting transcription management, preparing materials for external suppliers and QCers, and ensuring all activities conform to relevant standards and laws.

  • Carry out quality control and assessment tasks of market research calls.
  • Download relevant recordings for QC work, including completed interviews, weekly monitoring, and first shift monitoring quality control.
  • Keep the QC area tidy and organised.
  • Accurately time questionnaires for market research projects.
  • Organise and conduct feedback sessions with interviewers and QC staff.
  • Validate market research participant identity, credentials, and update records as required.
  • Edit and anonymise recordings using provided software.
  • Support transcription management for our teams.
  • Prepare materials for external suppliers and QCers.
  • Ensure activities conform to standards such as ISO 20252, ISO 27001, applicable codes of conduct, and data protection law.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in market research (although not essential).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise work.
  • Focused on delivering quality without compromising deadlines.
