Training and Development Specialist

This role involves part-time, temporary support to missionaries in their initial twelve weeks abroad. The position is focused on facilitating instruction and feedback sessions remotely with missionaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual meetings with missionaries to provide coaching and guidance.
  • Prepare customized sessions aligned with an approved curriculum.
  • Assist missionaries in planning and budgeting for their learning activities.
  • Implement directives and training from supervisors.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions with trainers.
  • Ensure continuous growth and improvement in best practices among missionaries.
  • Report on progress and needs of assigned tasks.
  • Coach missionaries for live sessions and follow-up activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Returned missionary or currently teaching at a Missionary Training Center (MTC).
  • High proficiency in English communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outstanding coaching, facilitation, and training abilities.
  • Knowledge of Preach My Gospel principles.
  • Ability to conduct remote video calls.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
