Android Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Android Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing high-quality features for the Android app.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning major features, collaborating with the design team, and delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning major features and working closely with the design team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintaining and improving reliability metrics for key features.
  • Participating in cross-functional discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
  • Reviewing pull requests and supporting other teammates.
  • Handling critical issues or unexpected challenges.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in Android development.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, and Android Animations.
  • Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.
  • Product design intuition and user empathy.
  • Strong communication skills and a user-oriented problem-solving approach.
