Main Responsibilities
  • Owning key features and collaborating with the design team to deliver impactful results within the app.
  • Shaping the future of the Android team by driving innovation and improvement.
  • Maintaining and enhancing reliability metrics for vital features.
  • Participating in cross-functional discussions — Product, Design, Engineering.
  • Reviewing code and supporting fellow developers.
  • Addressing complex issues or unexpected challenges.
  • Overseeing feature releases and providing nightly builds for quality assurance.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
  • Familiarity with Android components and architecture.
  • Experience building or contributing to at least one Android application.
  • Product design acumen and user empathy.
  • Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.
  • Understanding of testing principles and writing effective tests.
  • Self-motivation to improve the app and codebase beyond specifications.
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving approach centered around users.
  • Ability to work effectively with continuous feedback from leaders.
