Key Role: Senior Android Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for owning major features, working closely with our design team, and shaping the future of our Android app.

Responsibilities:
  • Owning major features and delivering high-quality features
  • Shaping the future of our Android app
  • Improving reliability metrics for key features
  • Participating in discussions across different teams
  • Reviewing pull requests and supporting other teammates
  • Handling critical issues and unexpected challenges
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Android components
  • Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
  • Product design intuition and user empathy
  • Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX
  • Understanding of tests and how to approach writing tests
Desirable Skills:
  • Rock-solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests
  • Excellent communication skills
  • User-oriented problem-solving approach

Successful candidates will possess excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
