Bid Estimator Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to support our estimating teams as a Bid Estimator Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track bid proposals from initiation to submission.
  • Ensure all estimate packages include vendor quotes, subcontractor bids, takeoffs, specifications, and scope clarifications.
  • Organize files for executive review and maintain consistent folder structures.
  • Solicit and track supplier and subcontractor pricing.
  • Maintain and update a bid contact database with key partners.
  • Document and properly save all quotes for reference.
  • Collaborate with estimators on bid deadlines and scheduling.
  • Assist with software tracking and document management.
  • Generate summary bid reports and maintain a bid calendar.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formatting).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or MEP industries is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with estimating tools is a plus.
