Financial Transaction Manager

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Controllership team. The ideal candidate will have an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a proven track record of managing complex financial transactions.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for processing and managing high volumes of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval in accordance with our policies. This includes reviewing and verifying vendor invoices against contracts and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Additionally, the Senior Accountant will handle complex invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues, working directly with vendors and internal departments to resolve. They will also assist in preparing payment runs, ensuring all payments are processed on time and in line with vendor agreements.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage invoices: Accurately code and approve invoices in accordance with our policies.
- Review and verify vendor invoices: Ensure accuracy and compliance by reviewing invoices against contracts and receipts.
- Handle complex issues: Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues through direct communication with vendors and internal departments.
- Prepare payment runs: Ensure timely and accurate payment processing in accordance with vendor agreements.
This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage vendor relationships.
The selected candidate will undergo 1 day onsite training at One Ayala, Makati City, followed by a 100% remote work arrangement. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Active CPA license.
- 5+ years of experience in AP accounting or related financial roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or independent role.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
