Our organization seeks a highly skilled Financial Professional responsible for delivering exceptional accounting services. This role involves managing various financial tasks, including tax returns, document collection, bookkeeping, research, reconciliation, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns utilizing established templates and protocols.
  • Conduct independent research on relevant laws and regulations prior to submitting returns.
  • Ensure complete and accurate returns are submitted to avoid open items.
  • Determine tax liability, salary requirements, payroll liabilities, and estimated payments for clients.
  • Handle correspondences with tax authorities, prepare payment plans, and manage Powers of Attorney.
  • Perform external bookkeeping, adjust balance sheets, handle year-end adjustments, and provide QuickBooks support.
  • Review monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, update lists, and prepare W-2s, W-3s, 1099, and 1096 forms at year-end.
  • Maintain adherence to organizational policies and procedures, work within budgets, and collaborate with the tax manager to review progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software/tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and CCH Access/ProFX Tax.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is an advantage.
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft 365 applications and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation.
  • Ability to function independently.
