Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a VAT Associate.

  • This role requires the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Experience in VAT compliance, tax planning, and financial advisory services is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a VAT Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
  • Assisting in VAT registration and deregistration processes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for client VAT accounts.
  • Preparing VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications.
  • Reviewing client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Responding to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff.
  • Staying updated with the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and data security standards in all processes.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary financial data.
  • Participating in trainings and development programs to enhance VAT knowledge.
  • Performing other duties as directed by the VAT Manager to support department goals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) in taxation or finance.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in VAT or tax-related roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting, and Compliance matters.
  • Experience in financial advisory and related financial services and products.
  • Proficient in English.
