Senior Utility Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Utility Engineer to lead detailed inspections of overhead utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, drive process improvements, and contribute to the electric utility sector's growth.

  • Lead complex inspections of overhead utility infrastructure, identifying faults and hazards.
  • Analyze data with precision, upholding high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for work packages, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide valuable feedback and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Work effectively with utility companies to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the electric utility field (desired).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and good written and oral communication abilities.
  • A working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • The ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
  • A willingness to learn and apply new technologies within the utility sector.
