Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including SDWAN, Cloud Networking, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers, VPN, QoS, MPLS, SBCs, PBX platforms, Circuits, and servers.
  • Monitor network performance, test for weaknesses, and identify capacity, quality, and performance issues for VoIP traffic.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues reported by end-users.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve problems.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of proven hands-on experience in a network administrator role.
  • Hands-on experience in networking, SDWAN, routing, switching, VoIP, wireless.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, route redistribution, Spanning Tree).
  • Knowledge of Cisco, ASA, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, Proxy Servers, Web Filtering, and Networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, DNS, MPLS).
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically hosted PBX platforms and endpoint devices.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Ability to setup and configure server hardware and deployments in on-prem data centers.
  • Ability to configure network infrastructure with IaC such as Terraform.
  • Experience in network setup in cloud environments such as AWS.
  • Able to understand and analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges.
