Project Leaders are pivotal in spearheading project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Their role encompasses coordinating advocacy efforts, engaging stakeholders, and serving as trainers and resource persons for assigned projects.

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree required; professional licensure, master's, or doctorate preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in project implementation or community development in a non-governmental organization or similar entity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging stakeholders and building relationships with local government units.
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and use of electronic databases and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and familiarity with local governance structures.
  • Willingness to work independently and collaboratively, and travel to different locations as needed.
  • Understanding of project management principles, business acumen, ability to lead change initiatives, and commitment to team learning and development.
  • Proficient in negotiation skills, identifying and implementing process improvements, and exerting impact and influence for project success.
  • Commitment to transparency, accountability, integrity, adaptability, resilience, proactive problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Comprehensive approach to project planning and execution, recognition of innovative solutions, and strategic analysis of project objectives and constraints.

Responsibilities

  1. Serves as the focal person for report consolidation and review, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete reporting.
  2. Identifies, monitors, and reviews priority programs/projects within a specific area, ensuring their proper implementation, conducting regular site visits, and analyzing project data.
  3. Conducts regular monitoring of data validation, technical supervision, and capacity building for project staff.
  4. Collaborates with various stakeholders and partners to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of project implementation.
  5. Provides technical advice, recommendations, and feedback to stakeholders relative to data gathering and reporting.
  6. Facilitates planning, conceptualizing, scheduling, and execution of activities with partners and related government agencies.
  7. Manages funds for project-related activities and ensures judicious use of resources in alignment with approved project objectives.
  8. Oversees the timely implementation of project staff work plans to achieve set targets and objectives.
  9. Verifies and consolidates team reports to be submitted to senior program managers.
  10. Performs other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
