SharePoint Developer Role

The SharePoint Developer plays a crucial role in configuring, customising, and maintaining SharePoint Online to support collaboration, data management, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customise SharePoint Online sites, subsites, lists, libraries, and metadata to ensure seamless data management and collaboration.
  • Develop page layouts, web parts, and workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Set up secure and user-friendly document libraries, team sites, and communication sites to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Implement and manage user permissions, access levels, and content governance to maintain a secure and organised environment.
  • Integrate Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline operations and automate workflows.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and configure solutions that meet their needs.
  • Support AI-enabled document retrieval and provide technical support, training, and guidance to SharePoint users.
  • Maintain governance standards to ensure consistent structure and usability across the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of proven experience configuring and managing SharePoint Online is required.
  • Strong knowledge of site structure, lists, libraries, and permissions is essential.
  • Experience with setting up SharePoint applications and integrating with Microsoft 365 ecosystem is necessary.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for customisation is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are required to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
