Role Overview

This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for existing client accounts. The ideal candidate will oversee nexus reviews, permit applications, permit closures, offboarding, tax settings, and new sales channels.

Job Description

The Client Tax Specialist is responsible for managing changes to existing client accounts and moving projects through the workflow in a timely manner. This includes assisting clients and their Sales Tax Accountants with issues related to tax settings, platforms, permits, and offboarding.

The specialist will also analyze factors to determine nexus obligations and collaborate with the Onboarding Specialist to review and present results before client meetings when ready. Additionally, they will update and test tax collection settings on platforms for permit start/end dates, manage permit closures, final billings, paperwork, and system removals, and ensure a positive end experience.
