Commercial Insurance Representative

This role involves serving as a key member of the Commercial Lines team, where you will educate existing clients and attract new ones to drive sales growth and client retention.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide proposals for producers and quote policies with top-rated carriers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and markets, focusing on cross-selling and expanding existing accounts.
  • Service existing clients in person, by email, or via telephone, processing claims and making policy changes.
  • Quote and issue new policies, including Certificates of Insurance (COI) and Evidence of Property Insurance (EOP).
**Requirements:**
  • 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance, with a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policies and coverages.
  • Familiarity with the operations of an independent agency and knowledge of quoting policies with major carriers.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, with experience handling customer inquiries and policy changes.
  • Persuasive communication skills to offer additional products where appropriate.
  • Ability to manage certificates, evidence of property insurance, and homeowners insurance documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately process multiple tasks under deadlines. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new tasks is also essential.
