Job Title: Maintenance Equipment Specialist

 

This is a full-time position that requires the individual to ensure the optimal functioning of plant equipment. The Maintenance Equipment Specialist will be responsible for performing routine checks on running plant equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.

The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical and control systems, with knowledge of troubleshooting and repair techniques. In addition, they should possess excellent problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance on electrical and mechanical components of production equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of all running plant equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement plans to prevent machine breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and maintenance supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Provide support and training to new staff members in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize equipment performance.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 1-4 years of experience in maintenance/repair, preferably with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and control systems, including wiring installations and electrical works.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
