We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

This role involves working within the human resources department, supporting employees, consultants, and mentors throughout their lifecycle. The primary focus is on HR-related functions including recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll management, performance development, and employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in HR. They should be familiar with performance management frameworks such as OKRs and have involvement in employee engagement initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and good interpersonal and communication skills. They will also have the ability to handle tasks independently while knowing when to seek guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Assist in the entire recruitment process, including preparing job postings, screening resumes to identify qualified candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Employee & Contractor Management: Administer the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and contractors, including document preparation and induction coordination.
  • Mentor Management: Administer the onboarding, offboarding, and renewal of mentor agreements, including maintaining mentor records and updates.
  • HR Records & Compliance: Maintain and update employee and consultant records in HR systems, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Performance Management (OKRs): Assist the OKR and performance management process.
  • Employee Engagement & Development: Support and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, and assist in the delivery of training and development programs.
  • Culture & Values Initiative: Coordinate company initiatives such as the Cheers for Peers program.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist in preparing and processing payroll for employees and consultants.
  • HR Advisory Support: Provide first-line support for HR-related inquiries from employees and consultants, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • HR Process Improvement: Support the documentation and implementation of HR processes, and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • HR Reporting & Insights: Compile and maintain HR-related reports and data to support decision-making.
Business Operations:
  • Accounts Payable Support: Proactively support timely and accurate preparation of accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment.
  • Operational Reporting & Process Improvement: Proactively contribute to process improvements and support the team in generating operational reports and insights.
  • Startups Management: Support startups onboarding and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM and internal databases.
  • Partnership Administration: Support administrative aspects of partner management, including record-keeping and renewals.
  • Mentor Support: Provide assistance for mentor-related queries concerning systems, processes, and invoicing.
