Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly professional team in the CTO Engineering division. We offer an open and collaborative environment where you can speak up anytime and drive initiatives.

We are enabling containerization and microservices development by developing platforms, tools, and frameworks used across the company.

You will have the opportunity to work with technology stacks including Java, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gradle.

Our team explores new technologies and adapts them for usage within our environment. We are eager to learn and love to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain frameworks and tools for microservices running on Kubernetes, used by development teams and clients.
  • Take ownership of some parts of the frameworks and tools.
  • Support development teams working on microservices.
  • Support clients to adopt OpenShift container platform, install, and configure Avaloq microservices.
  • Work in an agile environment, helping to constantly improve our processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Java, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gradle.
  • Experience with containerization and microservices development.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
