Job Description:

As a seasoned professional in financial management, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate financial statements and tax returns for various entities. Your primary duties will include preparing BAS, IAS, and other client reporting, as well as reviewing and reconciling financials to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSF
  • Review and reconciliation of financials (monthly or quarterly), including data entry
  • General accounting procedures and other ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have at least 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system and hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. You should also possess exceptional written and verbal English business communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF, as well as strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices are essential. High-level Excel skills and working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM are also required.
