Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Director to lead our finance team and provide strategic support to our senior management team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial planning and forecasting processes.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory matters.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the finance team to deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board and departments and divisions.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and business systems.
  • Support the MD and the company in the budgetary planning and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure all financial accounting and administration functions, internal controls and reconciliations are performed properly.
  • Produce and interpret management accounts.
  • Ensure the year end audit is performed properly.
  • Generate and maintain the groups cash flow and budgeting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory matters.
  • Financial planning (forecasting and budgeting).
  • Reporting of budget variances and cost control.
  • Training & mentoring.

Requirements:

  • An accounting qualification, ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
  • 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role (Financial Manager or FD).
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Experience working with financial forecasting software an advantage.

Skills and QualificationsAccounting Qualification:

ACA/ACCA or CIMA.

Experience:

5 to 7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role.

Software Proficiency:

Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.

Forecasting Software:

Experience working with financial forecasting software an advantage.
