About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounting operations.
  • This is a leadership role for an experienced individual who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep expertise in US GAAP, a strong operational mindset, and a proven ability to manage audits, accounting teams, and financial processes in complex, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), month-end close, general ledger management, tax filings, and audit preparation.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Design, implement, and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team; ensure clear delegation, performance tracking, and professional development.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of audits, liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization across the finance function.
  • Monitor and manage working capital needs, particularly in high-volume environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, contributing insights for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Qualifications:

  • 12–15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
  • Strong experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading accounting teams and managing people in a remote setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
