We are seeking a seasoned OT Platform Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and maintaining OpenShift clusters in on-prem production environments.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead the design of secure tunneling solutions for deployment instructions between network levels.
  • The successful candidate will establish air gap transfer strategies for code and artifacts, ensuring seamless integration with Humanitec and ArgoCD for GitOps-style deployments.
  • Responsibilities also include creating staging environments that accurately mirror production on-prem systems in AWS, working closely with cybersecurity teams to implement defense-in-depth strategies, and establishing robust change management processes for on-prem deployments.
Requirements
  • Must-have skills and experience:
  • A strong background in air-gapped and segmented network architectures is essential.
  • Experience with secure artifact management (e.g., JFrog Artifactory) is required.
  • Understanding of on-prem limitations (disconnected, latency, bandwidth constraints) is crucial.
  • Experience with manual deployment processes and change control is necessary.
  • Familiarity with vSphere and on-premises virtualization is desirable.
  • Desirable skills and experience:
  • Understanding of the Purdue Model and ISA-95 standards is beneficial.
  • Experience with mining or heavy industry operational environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and SCADA environments is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of redundant system design for high availability is important.
  • Understanding of industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.) is useful.
  • Experience with staging/production environment separation in OT is valuable.
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of OT-specific security requirements and compliance standards is essential.
