About the Opportunity

This position involves leading a team of engineers to design, deploy and optimize AI agents for businesses.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Architecture: Define the technical architecture for the AI agent platform.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a small team of engineers (initially 2–3, scaling up to 10+).

  • Collaboration: Work with founders, product, and engineering teams to align architecture with business goals.

  • Hands-On Development:

    • Design, build, and optimize scalable front-end and back-end systems using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs.

    • Implement solutions using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.

  • Infrastructure & Deployment:

    • Manage deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.

    • Optimize Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.

    • Maintain secure local and remote deployments, leveraging Cloudflare for instance management.

  • Security & Networking:

    • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.

    • Contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales.

  • Collaboration & Delivery:

    • Work across multiple projects, balancing system optimization with new feature rollout.

    • Ensure clean workflows, visibility, and collaboration using Git versioning and project management tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration (e.g., N8N, JSON, vector stores, databases).

  • Advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.

  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.

  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.

  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances (Cloudflare preferred).

  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.

  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership.
