As a highly skilled Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of two growing creative businesses.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of bookkeeping experience, preferably with small or creative businesses. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and experience handling international transactions are essential requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent written and spoken English communication skills, are also crucial for this position.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensuring accurate records, and providing financial clarity that helps the founders focus on growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management
  • Clear existing backlog of bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Generate and send client invoices, track payments, and issue reminders as needed
  • Handle international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms
  • Manage retainer billing for select clients
  • Track and organize financial records across multiple revenue streams
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
  • (Optional) Support with tax preparation and filing

Apart from the job-specific requirements, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, can meet deadlines, and has good time management skills.

Working remotely using Google Drive, QuickBooks, Slack/WhatsApp is essential for this position.

Experience in creative industries, e-commerce, or hospitality would be beneficial but not required.

What We Offer
  • A flexible schedule with approximately 10 hours/week (with potential to grow to full-time)
  • A competitive rate of $200-400 USD (dependent on level of experience)

This is an independent contractor position with the possibility of becoming full-time in the future.
