Shopee Manila is seeking a skilled Public Affairs Manager to join their team. As a key member of the public affairs team, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and executing engagement plans with government departments.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with regulatory authorities.
  • Providing support to the global public affairs team to achieve their objectives.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide proactive engagements with business partners and government departments.
  • Developing and building strong relationships and networks within the business community.
  • Assisting in special projects as determined by the company.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Ideally more than 5 years of experience in a role focused on business development and interacting frequently with the business sector and government departments.
  • Required to meet KPIs set by the company.
  • The ideal candidate will be hardworking, self-motivated, and independent.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior working experience in an internet company or the public sector.
