Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide accurate cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects.
  • Analyze packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to determine job scope and requirements.
  • Utilize historical data and supplier pricing to prepare quotes and maintain competitive pricing strategies.
  • Support customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations and improve process efficiency.
  • Recommend cost-saving alternatives in materials or production processes when applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects with a strong understanding of printing processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and mathematical abilities are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
