About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Consulting Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide optimized project staffing and maximize revenues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with consulting operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Built strong relationships with internal stakeholders through partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Manage own projects where required, overseeing concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Resolve escalations between the project, client, or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
  • Oversee resource planning and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
  • Communicate clear responsibilities, accountabilities, and growth plans to teams through work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure bench time for consultants is used to improve skills in line with practice technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Solicit feedback from delivery owners on engagements where GDC team members are aligned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and setting expectations.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, with ability to communicate effectively up to executive levels.
  • Ability to align diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in alignment with project commitments.
  • Deep knowledge in internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
  • Ability to create sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
  • Ability to manage up to 20 people and provide guidance on their career development.
  • Ability to remain composed during challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments, ensuring alignment in expectations.
