Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst Job Description:

This role requires a highly skilled professional to support the organization's financial planning and analysis needs.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial data in the Workday Adaptive Planning system, including monthly forecasting and budgeting.
  • They will also ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data across all relevant systems, driving remedial actions where necessary.
  • In addition, they will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insightful commentary to senior management and directors.
  • Support for ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling requests will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on various transformational finance projects, including finance systems migrations, integrations, mergers/restructures, and development of reporting tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with practice background preferred, possessing strong accounting capability.
  • Post-qualification experience in industry would be advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills, with financial modeling experience being essential.
  • Experience with Power BI, Workday, Sharperlight, and Netsuite will be beneficial.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to summarize findings in a clear and concise manner, tailored to senior management and board-level audience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
