Job Title: IT Project Manager

About the Role

The IT Project Manager is a pivotal position that oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects from inception to completion. This role ensures timely project completion within budget while aligning with business objectives.

  • This includes developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage cross-functional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks.
  • Define and manage project budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Allocate resources efficiently balancing project demands and business priorities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Track project performance providing detailed reports on project status, risks, and KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
