The successful Senior Bookkeeper will oversee key financial operations, ensuring their reliability and efficiency. This role involves managing deadlines and maintaining compliance with US GAAP and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities- Verify the accuracy of Junior Bookkeeper outputs.
- Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice preparation, approval flows, and reconciliation.
- Manage onboarding and cleanup workflows for new client accounts.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and process documentation.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP and internal standards.
- Train and mentor Junior Bookkeepers, serving as an escalation contact.
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, full-cycle bookkeeping, and financial cleanup.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process adherence.
- Strong leadership capability and mentoring experience.
