Inventory Control Specialist Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory levels to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, track orders, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits (cycle counts) and generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and forecast needs.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage inventory requirements and improve accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
