Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial record-keeping, account reconciliation, and preparation of accurate financial statements.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and supporting the accounting team with various tasks. Daily activities include processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. They will also possess exceptional attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential, with accounting experience preferred; CPA certification is an advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Strong background in financial record-keeping, including maintenance of financial records, account reconciliation, and preparation of accurate financial statements.
  • Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; accounting experience preferred; CPA certification is an advantage.
