Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled clinical writer to join our team. As a key member of our content creation unit, you will be responsible for analyzing, gathering, and documenting clinical requirements using best practices.

About the Role
  • Analyze complex data to identify trends and assess potential vulnerabilities in healthcare reimbursement and payment policies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate clinical requirements and guarantee correct coding guideline interpretations.
  • Document content requirements to promote immediate post-release content maintenance handoffs and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Contribute to user documentation, including rules guides and end-user training activities, to ensure seamless onboarding and knowledge transfer.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in health information management, nursing, or other healthcare-related field required.
  • AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or AHIMA CCS-P or CCS certification required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in payment/reimbursement or medical policy analysis, medical coding, or chart reviewing/auditing.
  • Effective communication skills: able to present complex material clearly via multiple mediums.
  • Superior critical thinking skills and ability to analyze complex data.
