Job Description

The Bid Coordinator plays a vital role in our team, supporting the estimating process by managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines. This position ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and on time, working closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to gather required information.

Bid Preparation and Submission:
  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • E nsure that all RFP's are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.
Document Management:
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • E nsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the submission guidelines.
Team Coordination:
  • Work closely with the project manager, estimators and other team members to gather necessary information, to facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.
  • Independently manage the workload calendar of your assigned region.
  • Meet workload demand and goals.
  • Track all customer contacts, bidding the same project for the estimator to send bids to.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment
