The primary role of an Intake Coordinator is to guide patients through the intake process. This involves responding to inquiries, estimating insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments with therapists.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can build trust and connection quickly with patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be tech-savvy, and have excellent organizational abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound leads via phone and text for speech therapy services
  • Estimate out-of-pocket insurance costs using proprietary tools
  • Match patients with suitable therapists based on location, specialty, and insurance compatibility
  • Schedule evaluations and follow-ups using electronic health records (EHR) and calendar tools
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and outcomes

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Tech-savviness and ability to navigate various software systems
  • Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
