Document Controller Role SummaryA Document Controller is needed to oversee the documentation process across all interior design projects. This includes organizing, scanning, copying, and archiving project documents in both digital and physical formats.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including contracts and project-related materials.
  • Update and maintain technical documents such as manuals, workflows, and specifications.
  • Distribute project documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain document control registers and update regularly.
  • Create and manage document templates to standardize processes.
  • Support team members and clients in retrieving documentation.
  • Oversee documentation flow across departments for consistency and accuracy.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Prepare project reports and summaries as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of experience in a document control or project coordination role, preferably within the design, architecture, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and document lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Proactive problem-solver with ability to work independently.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
