Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee financial strategy, reporting, and compliance as Assistant CFO. This individual will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project-level accounting, including job costing, preparing WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion reporting
  • Oversee contract compliance, lien releases, retention, and change order financial tracking
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Support consolidation and reporting across multiple entities
  • Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts tied to project pipelines
  • Coordinate with project managers on budgets, pay applications, and cost-to-complete reports
  • Assist CFO with bonding requirements, banking relationships, and insurance audits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles (job costing, WIP, retention, pay apps)
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with ability to work independently
