Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for providing support to our supervisors and operators in various aspects of our operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to immediate superiors to achieve quality objectives.
  • Assist in setting up machines for production runs.
  • Ensure materials are properly loaded and unloaded for proofing and actual production.
  • Assist in preparing raw materials, supplies, and other items needed in production operations.
  • Transfer and store films produced if applicable.
  • Pack and prepare rolls for delivery to external customers.
  • Ensure each film roll is properly wrapped and loaded onto pallets if applicable.
  • Assist in checking the quality of product outputs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, including assigned machines, materials, and tools.
  • Perform everyday duties while ensuring compliance with existing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adhere to accepted work safety practices and standards established by the company and government regulations.
  • Perform cross-functional activities as needed, such as transferring scraps and by-products to the scrap section.
  • Attend meetings, orientation, seminars, training activities as required or instructed by superiors.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure. You should also be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
