Key Accountabilities

The Senior Education Specialist will be responsible for:

  1. Leading and supporting the design and implementation of education projects in the Philippines, working closely with government counterparts and development partners.
  2. Providing technical assistance and guidance to government agencies and development partners on education policy and programming.
  3. Conducting research and analysis to inform education policy and programming decisions, and developing and disseminating knowledge products and reports to support these efforts.
  4. Fostering collaboration and alignment among education stakeholders to drive meaningful education reforms and program implementation, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  5. Engaging with human development sectors, the HD Management team, and the Country Management Unit to build synergies and identify opportunities to leverage education and skills development for equitable and resilient growth in the Philippines.
  6. Applying international and domestic best practices to strengthen education system accountability, inclusive access to high-quality learning, and skills development.
