Job Overview

Community Corrections is a leader in delivering case management and individualised support to people in the community under various supervision orders.

The Senior Case Manager ensures a high level of community safety through effective supervision and rehabilitation of individuals subject to community-based orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive case management for adults subject to community orders, focusing on risk assessment, rehabilitation, and public safety.
  • Operate in accordance with assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment to support effective supervision and reintegration.
  • Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to address Indigenous over-representation in the criminal justice system.
  • Possession of a driver's licence (minimum C class Australian licence) is mandatory as travel across various locations is required.
  • May be required to work hours outside the normal work hours and travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
  • Individuals employed on a permanent or temporary basis will be required to complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in case management and individualised support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
