Senior Community Safety Specialist

Community Corrections provides evidence-based case management and tailored support to individuals in the community under supervision orders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by ensuring high levels of community safety through effective supervision.
The position involves working in accordance with assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment practices that facilitate successful supervision and rehabilitation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within a legislative framework that underpins core service delivery areas.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and managing ongoing working relationships with stakeholders.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for negotiating sensitive issues.
- A minimum C class Australian driver's licence is required.
- Occasional travel and work outside normal hours may be necessary.
- Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) is a mandatory requirement within 12 months.
