Job Description:

  • Obtain Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) from the IRS on behalf of newly formed companies.
  • Represent clients directly in communication with the IRS via phone, ensuring accurate and timely processing of their EIN requests.
  • Collect information from clients for ITIN applications and remit it to a third-party vendor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact the IRS via phone daily during US business hours to obtain EINs.
  • Represent clients professionally and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Manage and track EIN applications, maintaining meticulous records of all interactions and documentation.
  • Address any issues or follow-ups related to EIN acquisition efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Own the internal process of submitting ITIN applications to a third-party vendor.
  • Report weekly on performance metrics such as ITINs submitted, EINs extracted, and cases in progress.
">Requirements:">
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working with the IRS on various cases, particularly involving EIN acquisition.
  • Active PTIN number, SSN number, or certification as a CAA (Certified Acceptance Agent) or EA (Enrolled Agent).
  • Strong understanding of IRS procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent clients professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
