High-Quality Software Testing Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective test cases and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact
  • Apply a risk-based approach to testing and ensure high-quality releases
  • Test case management and execution
  • Analyse requirements, business risks, consider edge cases and comfortable with feature decomposition
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling and testing
  • Database data and query analysis for deeper issue investigation. API testing. Logs analysis, server issue debugging
  • Show strong independent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions to refine assumptions
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse information beyond a pattern-matching approach and make decisions based on business and technical contexts
  • Proactively identify gaps and propose solutions
  • Effectively manage test cases and contribute to improving test management processes

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers and test case management tools

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools
  • Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems
  • Experience with simulators/emulators is a plus
