Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for acquiring materials, goods, and services required by the organization.

This involves planning, coordinating, and controlling all procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and qualifying potential suppliers through thorough analysis and evaluation.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Managing procurement budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide recommendations for cost savings opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, or logistics.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of procurement software and systems.
