Job Description

As a remote accounting professional, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. This role involves establishing and implementing standardized financial workflows, processes, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities include contributing to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will also provide detailed budget-to-actual analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies.

  • Oversee accounts payable activities and maintain the general ledger.
  • Establish and implement standardized financial workflows and processes.
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is essential; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup.
