About the Role

The HR Supervisor will serve as an active member and contributor of Subic Drydock Corporation's leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This key position also has functional reporting responsibilities to the Corporate HR Director who provides overall HR Program direction consistent with the company's vision and mission statement.

Responsibilities

The HR Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of HR Personnel, providing guidance to the GM and management on all facets of HR such as recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employee and organizational development, personnel transactions, and manpower planning. This role ensures legal compliance by advising company leadership on Philippine Labor Code and other related laws including interaction with government agencies. The HR Supervisor will also foster positive, productive communication and relationship with parent company, Cabras Marine Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Recruitment: Source, attract, select, and hire top talent to drive business growth and success.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that enhance employees' skills and knowledge, ultimately driving individual and business performance.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement fair and competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Employee and Organizational Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring employees are equipped to succeed in their roles and contribute to the company's vision.
  • Personnel Transactions: Manage employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, and separations.
  • Manpower Planning: Analyze workforce needs and develop strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and other relevant laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
