Lead Business Analyst - Learning Innovation

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive learning innovation and contribute to the development of our team.

Job Description
  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. Gather data business requirements, including key L&D analytics, industry metrics, and benchmarks
  2. Analyze and interpret customer needs and requirements
  3. Design, develop and distribute L&D metrics reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting
  4. Manage learner groups or analysis, and assignment of Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) regulatory training in coordination with business partners or training leads, leveraging business intelligence reporting
  5. Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  6. Translates concepts into practice
  7. Identify capability gaps between current state and desired state
  8. Identify the business impact of system or application changes, using appropriate tools as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree: 8+ years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads
  • Business Analysis Expertise: Complex problem solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions
  • Tech Skills: Microsoft Power BI business intelligence reporting, Smartsheet, Access databases, Office 365 Suite of Tools
  • Learning Analytics Expertise: Solid knowledge of latest innovations and emerging trends in leveraging data and providing predictive and prescriptive learning analytics
  • Critical Thinking and Communication Skills: Proven superior analytical thinking skills, solid relationship-building, accountability, and critical thinking skills, excellent collaboration, emotional intelligence, networking, and communication (written and oral) skills, ability to balance multiple priorities
