Job Title: Property Valuation Assistant

 

This is a key role for individuals with strong analytical skills and experience in real estate, providing financial modeling, market research, and report preparation to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze data from real estate databases to identify comparable properties and trends.
  • Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, to assess their performance and potential returns.
  • Create detailed financial models to evaluate property performance and provide recommendations for investors.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to inform investment decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Assist with due diligence, including reviewing leases and financial documents, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar role is highly valued.
  • A degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate is required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, particularly in financial modeling, are essential.
  • The ability to think independently and solve complex problems effectively is crucial.
  • Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills are also beneficial.
  • A solid understanding of real estate terms and metrics, such as cap rates, NOI, and IRR, is necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are required to succeed in this role.
