Senior Management Accountant – Remote Opportunity

About the Role

The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering accurate financial reporting and valuable insights, empowering executive leaders to make informed decisions that drive the company's success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
  • Presenting financial results at management meetings
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns
  • Managing external auditor relations and audit queries
  • Partnering with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant with:

  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors
  • A CA/CPA qualification
  • Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising
  • Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated
  • Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
