Transforming Partner Engagement
Job OverviewWe seek a seasoned professional to lead the evolution of our partner engagement model from reactive to proactive. This key role focuses on aligning vendor capabilities with business priorities, managing contractual risk, and ensuring high-performance delivery through strategic collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
This includes reframing partner management from monitoring to co-ownership, segmenting and rationalizing the partner ecosystem, tracking contract milestones, and strengthening contract discipline.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Vendor Management
- Align partner capabilities and commitments with transformation priorities and delivery expectations.
- Partnership Strategy & Rationalization
- Lead segmentation and rationalization of the partner ecosystem while ensuring flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Contract Lifecycle & Commercial Risk Management
- Track contract milestones, renewals, and expansions with visibility into risks and dependencies. Surface renewal risks and renegotiation opportunities early.
- Internal Collaboration & Alignment
- Act as a key coordination point across teams to ensure contract and partner structures remain aligned to evolving delivery and sourcing models.
- Performance Monitoring & Escalation
- Participate in formal partner performance reviews and escalation mechanisms. Monitor vendor health and flag issues or risks requiring executive action.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Work Experience
- Strategic Vendor Management: 7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing roles.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Hands-on experience in managing contract lifecycles, including renewals, renegotiations, and risk assessment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working with diverse teams to align partner structures with business needs.
- Performance Monitoring & Governance: 5+ years of experience in vendor performance tracking and governance frameworks.
- Must-Have Skills
- Analytical Skills: Ability to develop actionable insights from vendor performance data.
- Commercial Acumen: Expertise in assessing commercial risks and opportunities tied to contract dependencies and milestones.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple contracts and vendor relationships simultaneously.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with technology-enabled sourcing models and trends in telecommunications.
- Negotiation Expertise: Skilled in negotiating contract terms that align with organizational goals.
- Strategic Communication: Experience in preparing and presenting insights to senior leadership.
